That is a good word for my life right now, I feel. Our school auction, which I am coordinating, is one week from today! That means that the last week has been extremely busy, and that this week will be even more so. Boy am I thankful that I don't have to work these long hours all the time! Let's just say that I was so tired that I was falling asleep by 9 on Friday night, went to bed at 10, and slept until 9 am... that's 11 hours! I usually can't sleep past 8 on Saturdays, and often not even until then if I've gone to bed early.
In other news, there's still just the one 4th grade opening at my school for next year, and I will probably be interviewing for that in a week or so.
I have more new items to check out on my etsy site... http://www.etsy.com/shop/JunebugCrochet . I have sold a few things, but only to people that I know, so spread the word if you get the chance!
Our weather hasn't been quite as springy, but still in the mid 50s to low 60s most days, with rain off and on. We are relishing in the greeness and blooming that surrounds us at the moment, because we know that in another couple of months it will all be brown!
I don't remember if I put this on here before, but we got our plane tickets for our midwest trip this summer! June 4-15, and we will be in GR for the 10th-13th :).
That's all for now, I am trying to get some relaxing in this weekend before I return to the chaos on Monday.

Yosemite, Finally!
Well, after over 6 months of living only an hour and a half away from the entrance to Yosemite, we finally made it there! And it was the most beauitful, sunny, clear, blue skied day, which gave us the most breathtaking views of El Capitan and Half Dome!
This is the longest tunnel carved out of a mountain that I've ever been through! I told Matt that I didn't think you could even hold your breath through it... and he had no clue what I was talking about. It's funny how you can have such different childhood experiences. Apparently, he never learned to hold your breath and put you hands up to the roof when you're in a car going through a tunnel. It took me a minute to even remember why kids do that... to save air and hold up the roof of the car in case the tunnel collapses, of course!
Matt was especially excited to go see the snow... he's been going through withdrawal all winter, poor guy. I haven't missed it a bit, ha!
We had planned to go tubing, but it ended up to be a very small short hill that was pretty much for little kids... so we opted for snow shoeing. We had never been before, and absolutely loved it! We already enjoy hiking very much, and snow shoeing is pretty much hiking in the snow, why wouldn't we love it? Plus, you get some awesome views of the snow covered mountains, snowy meadows, the stark contrast of the lichen covered trees with the pure white snow, and the peaceful, sound deadening quiet that snow provides. It is amazing how easy it is to walk in/on the snow when you have snow shoes on. You hardly sink into even the fresh snow, and you have such good traction.

When we made it to Badger Pass ski area, Matt said, "Now winter begin." Sorry love, that was it, the "worst" is already over in Merced! Spring already appears to be here! Today was 64 and sunny, in the middle of February! What a contrast! The only downside to spring in February and things starting to bloom, is that blooming = allergies! Back so soon? Well, at least I got a break for 3-4 months, right?

Job Opening!
I have wonderful news! There is a 4th grade teacher job opening at my school! Now, not all of the other teachers have filled out their intent forms for next year either, but there is at least the one opening for sure. Start praying now that I will be the best applicant :). I will post if there are any more openings, but it will be a while yet before they start interviewing and such for any of them anyways.
